The Power to Stay – Personal Reflection

SPIRIT: The Power to Stay

Romans 8 reminds us that life with God is not about our strength but about His Spirit at work within us. We drift, we wander, we lose focus — but He does not. The Spirit aligns us when we walk away, lifts us when we’re tired, and anchors us when everything feels unsteady.

This week, spend time asking the Holy Spirit to show you where He is helping, speaking, leading, and keeping you. We don’t wake up neutral — we wake up empowered.

Here are some questions to guide your reflection:

1. Where do I still feel condemned, even though God declares “no condemnation”?

2. What part of my life still sounds like a “slave mindset” instead of a child who belongs?

3. Where do I sense the Spirit nudging me back behind Jesus — closer, aligned, steady?

4. What weakness am I carrying that the Spirit is already interceding for?

5. What fear tries to convince me I’m separated from God — and what does Romans 8 say about it?

Let the Holy Spirit show you not just what He saved you from, but what He is empowering you for.
