SPIRITUAL WAR

Everything we have is a result of God’s grace and goodness.

THE WONDER OF HIS LIGHT

Light is the culmination of the manifest character of God and the revealed character of God.

In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.

Jesus is both the manifest and revealed expression of God’s character.

LET THERE BE LIGHT

(Genesis 1:3) God made something out of nothing.

There was a time when Supernatural DIVINE Light was the order of the day.
Darkness is not only evil but simply the lack of light. We can be in a dark place and not necessarily be evil.

Consuming darkness wants to make you feel evil. So evil that you believe you are too far from God (identity) and that He would never want to know you (relationship)

Without the threat of darkness, we quickly identify as supernatural beings.

We accept that intimacy and relationship with the purest form of divine Light is possible and that because of our supernatural status in connection with the highest God, we have full authority in the realm in which we were created. In its purest form, that authority is more powerful than our current expression.

MADE FROM DUST

Then the Lord God formed the man from the dust of the ground. He breathed the breath of life into the man’s nostrils, and the man became a living person.

Scripture uses dust to indicate frailty.

When frailty is brought into the presence of divine light/influence, it becomes a supernatural expression of identity, authority, and purpose.

Bring darkness into the presence of light, and an explosion purifies, makes right, corrects, and gives life.

Even before sin, forgiveness was a part of God’s character. It did not need to be manifest or revealed, but it was there.

WHEN THE LIGHT COULD NOT BE SEEN, AND THE FRAILTY PREVAILED

Divine light was no longer recognized; the divine had been deauthorized in humans’ hearts and minds.

GOD REDEFINED AND QUESTIONED

The serpent was the shrewdest of all the wild animals the Lord God had made. One day he asked the woman, “Did God really say you must not eat the fruit from any of the trees in the garden?”—GENESIS 3:1 (NLT)

Satan introduces the idea that LOVE, JUSTICE, WISDOM, AND POWER should not be the LIGHT setting primaries.

THE WORD WAS TWISTED

“Of course we may eat fruit from the trees in the garden,” the woman replied. “It’s only the fruit from the tree in the middle of the garden that we are not allowed to eat. God said, ‘You must not eat it or even touch it; if you do, you will die.’”

THE LIFE-GIVING SPIRIT DISMISSED

“You won’t die!” the serpent replied to the woman. “God knows that your eyes will be opened as soon as you eat it, and you will be like God, knowing both good and evil.”—GENESIS 3:4-5 (NLT)

Satan questioned the establishment of life as revealed by the Spirit.

THE LIGHT AND DARKNESS DO BATTLE

Adam and Eve were LIGHT Bearers. Now they shifted in their chemistry. They now had a new force to carry – the darkness that the Spirit had seen and that the Light had irradiated.

At that moment their eyes were opened, and they suddenly felt shame at their nakedness. So they sewed fig leaves together to cover themselves.—GENESIS 3:7 (NLT)

In the hearts of man, there was now a purpose that they were not designed for or had the authority to carry: To be like God knowing right (light) and wrong (dark).

The Holy Spirit could handle the dark. Jesus conquered the dark, but we were never designed to carry anything other than LIGHT.

Light from all three, all the time had not been extinguished, but now humans would have to carry a sense of right and wrong, and that weight would leave them doubting the wonder of God.

The flesh and the natural had been given room. But with God’s character – there was still Hope.

LOOKING FOR ADAM AND THE PROMISE OF JESUS

When the cool evening breezes were blowing, the man and his wife heard the Lord God walking about in the garden. So they hid from the Lord God among the trees. Then the Lord God called to the man, “Where are you?”—GENESIS 3:8-9

And I will cause hostility between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring. He will strike your head, and you will strike his heel.”—GENESIS 3:15 9 (NLT)

HOPE AND GRACE REJECTED

He replied, “I heard you walking in the garden, so I hid. I was afraid because I was naked.”—GENESIS 3:10

With GRACE rejected, the manifestation of God’s character (LIGHT) could no longer be appreciated.

No REVELATION of God’s character meant no IDENTITY SLIDE 188 and no RELATIONSHIP.

Satan manipulated their PURPOSE and their identity and robbed them of their blessing. He is trying to do the same for each of us today.

Their purpose was questioned, their identity thwarted, and their authority extinguished.

The character of God was never irradiated, just distorted.

THE GREAT DISTORTION

In the mind of Adam and Eve, Satan distorted the primary elements of the Father.

His POWER was questioned.
His LOVE of humankind made strange.

The LOVE of His Word brought into disrepute.

The reflection of His LOVE through the Holy Spirit covered over.

SATANS ATTACK ON THE COMMAND THE WORD GAVE US TO LOVE GOD AND LOVE OTHER WAS UNDERWAY.

WISDOM was now allowed to be construed by flesh-thinking humans, and the new level of JUSTICE was whatever humans decided it was.

TRUTH and HOLINESS were gone, and the resultant RIGHTEOUSNESS was made to look dirty.

Man was now bound to the dark thoughts as he saw his FREEDOM dissipate.

The view that God was EVER-PRESENT and LONG SUFFERING was a distant memory. Being a vengeful God would cloud His Divine Decorum and His GRACIOUSNESS. Being a lofty, heartless judge would taint His MERCY.

All of the life-giving wonders the HOLY SPIRIT brought to push back darkness would be forgotten.

And with no MANIFESTATION or REVELATION, the Divine Hope of the World would no longer be in fashion, and as a result, all of the fruit of the spirit were now simply too old-fashioned.

With the desire to see the fruit of our labor and not labor, the fruit of the spirit and all-purpose gone, all supernatural revelation of what we can value in life through Jesus given to us by Jesus went out.

Divine Values such as having a servant’s heart, gratitude, being attentive to others needs, and empathy – all something that we would no longer naturally find easy to do.

Divine gifts like PEACE would be gone in Spirit, and as a result, our sight of the Prince of Peace was tainted. And with that, Peace SOUND-MIND and LOGOS logic would go too.

Lives would become overwhelming, and even feeling some moments of joy would become difficult. Work overwhelms us, and relationships frustrate us. All vestiges of who we are in Jesus become shadowy thoughts or fleeting memories.

Who would want to SURRENDER and perform any discipline for a God that judges, hates, and no longer forgives?

With HOPE forgotten and the WONDER of His FORGIVENESS, our PASSION to live is lost.

We rush through life trapped in our plans and lose sight that we are IN this world but made FROM an ETERNAL love story.

But the Lord God warned him, “You may freely eat the fruit of every tree in the garden— except the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. If you eat its fruit, you are sure to die.”—GENESIS 2:16-17 (NLT)

The rot of disobedience now manifests in just that: LIFE was no longer as beautiful as it had been.

And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil. For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed. But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that his works have been carried out in God.”—JOHN 3:19-21 (ESV)

The LIGHT Went Out…

SATAN TWISTS; HE CAN NOT CREATE

Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don’t understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God.—2 CORINTHIANS 4:4 (NLT)

HE TWISTS THE DIVINE INTO FALSE GODS

1. SATAN – The Father now becomes the father of lies.
2. WORLD ATMOSPHERE – The WORD becomes the word from street, from our own thoughts and from our own emotions.
3. HUMAN FRAILTY – THE HOLY SPIRIT’s revelation becomes HUMAN thinking.

GRACE AND PURPOSE WARPED
GRACE is turned into LIES.
Divine PURPOSE is warped into SELF-DETERMINATION

IDENTITY AND RELATIONSHIP SEPARATED FROM LIGHT
Revelation becomes DECEPTION.

Satan turns Divine IDENTITY into a thought process of NO SELF-WORTH
Divine relationships make way for ISOLATION and EMPTINESS.

THE HORRID FOUR

SATANS CORE
Divine Power gets twisted into CONTROL and manipulation.
The love that instigated creation gets twisted into a desire to DESTROY.
That desire to destroy begins manifesting into the world not us love but HATE. There is such a fine line between the two.

In our human spirit, we reap what we sow. The World’s atmosphere now twists the Holy Spirit’s fruit into man-made states and rights. Going so far as to walk in this destruction and hate and even create a RIGHT TO HATE.

To combat the Words Wisdom, Satan becomes a CONFUSER.

In the unsettling, unexplained sense of confusion, people start feeding off of SATANS REBELLION and rebel against divine justice, eventually degenerating into rebellion against any form of justice.

THE EFFECT ON THE HUMAN SPIRIT?
JOY is twisted by lies into DEPRESSION.

THE EFFECT ON THE ATMOSPHERE OF THE WORLD?
FREEDOM turns to OPPRESSION.

SATAN INTRODUCES PRIDE

Satan starts to twist God’s Word, giving Adam and Eve a sense that their thoughts are more reliable than God’s Word. Their understanding is the only one that is in their best interest. Truth gets twisted into the lie of PRIDE.

FALSE AUTHORITY PREVAILS IN THE WORLD
Not being willing to sacrifice their thoughts and surrender to the word of God, humanity loses the power of sacrifice to the lie of FALSE AUTHORITY.

OPINIONATED HUMANS
FALSE AUTHORITY and turns individuals’ KINDNESS into SELF-OPINIONATED machines.

That, in turn, is reflected into the world. What once was a reflection of a spirit of HUMILITY now inspires the spirit of SELFISHNESS.

SATAN now wields PRIDE, SELF-OPINION, and SELFISHNESS to introduce another of his twisted characteristics – HE TWISTS HOLINESS INTO CORRUPTION.

THE CREATOR IS SET ASIDE, AND THE CREATED DECIDE, AND THEY DECIDE ON DEVIANCE.

In the human spirit, we have deviated from our original design. This angers our spirit, and we lose our peace to a STATE of SELF-DOUBT.

Enough humans walking around with a dread of self, and there is an air of FEAR in the world instead of a Kingdom of Peace.

Self-doubt and fear remove our REST and turn it into DISILLUSSIONMENT.

SOUNDMIND is lost because love and power at the source have been covered, and we now suffer from (Piece of Stupid) LOST MIND.

FEAR HAS GRIPPED OUR MINDS, AND LOVE AND POWER HAVE BEEN LOST.

Satan, knowing we are gripped by fear, settles in with death blows. BLAME, SHAME, and CONDEMNATION.

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.—JOHN 10:10

With this death blow to the Human Spirit, Satan knows he can ANIHILATE identity, purpose, and blessing.

And through that, Satan unleashes a disruptive and disordered spirit that ANNIHILATES our ABILITY to know that God loves us despite our circumstance, position, or past (Graciousness obliterated).

Where there is no faith, there is no vision of the divine. With no vision, the heart grows cold and HOPELESS.

HUMANITIES RESPONSE

Anger, Excuses, Addiction, and Temper.
Passion turns to DOUBT and second-guessing ourselves every step of the way.

But we have now started trying to patch our sleeves and make them ourselves. We feel lost and abandoned one day and proudly okay the next.

THE WORLD’S ATMOSPHERE SHIFTS

Just like the church is the collection of the LIGHT, the world becomes the collection of the DARKNESS.

You used to live in sin, just like the rest of the world, obeying the devil—the commander of the powers in the unseen world. He is the spirit at work in the hearts of those who refuse to obey God.—Ephesians 2:2

God’s character is present but wholly corrupted.

“I remember boasting, “I’ve got it made! Nothing can stop me now! I’m God’s favored one; he’s made me steady as a mountain!” But then suddenly, you hid your face from me. I was panic-stricken and became depressed. Still I cried out to you, Lord God.

I shouted out for mercy, saying, “What would you gain in my death, if I were to go down to the depths of darkness? Will a grave sing your song? How could death’s dust declare your faithfulness?” So hear me now, Lord; show me your famous mercy.

O God, be my Savior and rescue me! Then he broke through and transformed all my wailing into a whirling dance of ecstatic praise! He has torn the veil and lifted from me the sad heaviness of mourning. He wrapped me in the glory-garments of gladness. How could I be silent when it’s time to praise you? Now my heart sings out, bursting with joy— a bliss inside that keeps me singing, “I can never thank you enough!”—PSALMS 30:6-12 TPT
