Icebreaker: Share one funny or memorable moment of learning what it means to belong in your family.

Discussion Questions:

1. Read 1 John 3:1. What does it mean for your identity to be rooted in being God’s child? How does that change how we relate to our parents/children?
2. Read Psalm 68:6. How can parents create belonging in their homes? How can children protect belonging instead of isolating?
3. Read Ephesians 6:1–4. What does honor look like practically in both directions? Why is honor so critical for covenant relationships?
4. Read Galatians 3:13. What generational “curses” or cycles have you seen in your family? How do we walk in Christ’s freedom instead of repeating the past?
5. Read Romans 8:17. What is the true inheritance God wants families to pass on?

Prayer Focus:

• Pray for healing where belonging has been broken.
• Pray for parents to live honorably and for children to walk in honor.
• Pray for generational cycles to be broken and covenant blessing to flow forward.
