Personal Reflection: Living Ready Forever

Series: Revealed – Living Ready in Unsteady Times
Key Text: Revelation 21–22 (NLT)

The story of Revelation ends where it began — with Jesus revealed and creation restored.
Heaven’s last word isn’t done; it’s come. The Bride and the Spirit call out together, inviting every heart to drink freely from the water of life.

Living ready isn’t about predicting the end — it’s about living in the presence of the Eternal One today. Every moment is an invitation to worship, to trust, and to walk with the Lamb who wins.

Take time this week to slow down, look back over this series, and consider how the hope of Revelation changes how you live right now.

Questions to Help You Live Ready

  1. Where are my eyes fixed?
Revelation began by lifting our gaze to Jesus. How does fixing your focus on Him — rather than the noise around you — change the way you live and respond to uncertainty?
  2. What have I been building?
Babylon was humanity’s attempt to reach God without God. In what areas of life are you tempted to rely on your own strength, rather than resting in His grace?
  3. How do I respond when the world shakes?
Worship always follows revelation. When fear or chaos rises, what does it look like for you to choose worship over worry?
  4. Where do I need to let go of control?
The Lamb wins — always. What would it mean for you to surrender your need to “make it all work” and instead trust that He already holds the keys of victory?
  5. What does “Come, Lord Jesus” mean for me today?
That phrase isn’t just about His return; it’s about inviting His reign into every part of life — relationships, decisions, and desires. Where do you most need His presence right now?

Reflection Verse

“He who is the faithful witness to all these things says, ‘Yes, I am coming soon!’ Amen! Come, Lord Jesus!”
— Revelation 22:20 (NLT)
