Key Text: Revelation 21–22 (NLT)
Icebreaker – “When Time Stood Still”
Think of a moment that took your breath away — a sunrise, a song, a scene, or a memory that made you stop and take it in.
Why do you think moments of awe have such power to re-center our focus?
Discussion Questions
1. Eyes on Jesus
Revelation 1:17–18 (NLT)
“Don’t be afraid! I am the First and the Last. I am the living one. I died, but look—I am alive forever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and the grave.”
How does this verse reshape the way we approach fear and uncertainty in our world today?
2. Worship as a Response

What does choosing to worship in hard times look like for you personally or for our church community?
3. Babylon and the Modern World

Ask for renewed endurance, peace, and readiness to carry His presence into every area of life.
Leader Insight
Encourage your group to close the series with gratitude — reflecting on what they’ve learned about endurance, hope, and worship.
Remind them that Living Ready Forever isn’t about predicting the end, but about walking daily with the Lamb who already reigns.
5-Day Bible Reading Plan
Series: Revealed – Living Ready in Unsteady Times
Week 8 – Living Ready Forever
Introduction
The book of Revelation doesn’t end with destruction — it ends with restoration.
Heaven’s last word isn’t “done,” it’s “come.”
Each day this week invites you to look forward with confidence, to worship freely, and to live ready — eyes on Jesus, heart on mission.
Day 1 – Eyes on the Eternal King
Revelation 1:12–18 (NLT)
John’s first glimpse of Jesus reminds us that the One who holds the keys of death and life is the same Lord who walks among His people today.
Take time to reflect on how His presence steadies your soul.
Day 2 – Mercy Before Judgment
Revelation 14:6–13 (NLT)
Before judgment falls, heaven still proclaims mercy.
Pray for those who have yet to hear or respond to the Good News — that they would encounter grace before the end.
Day 3 – The Fall of Babylon
Revelation 18:1–8 (NLT)
The systems of this world will crumble, but the kingdom of God will endure.
Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal where you’ve placed your trust in temporary things.
Day 4 – The King Who Returns
Revelation 19:11–16; John 1:1–5 (NLT)
The Word who spoke creation into existence returns to complete redemption.
Spend time declaring that the Lamb wins — always — and that His Word never returns void.
Day 5 – Living Ready Forever
Revelation 21:1–7; 22:12–21 (NLT)
God’s story ends with renewal, not ruin.
He will wipe every tear and dwell among His people.
Invite the Spirit to help you live ready, walking daily with the hope of eternity in your heart.
