1. Read Revelation 1:1–2 (NLT). What does it mean that Revelation is both from Jesus and about Jesus?
2. Read Matthew 24:12 (NLT). Why does distraction so often lead to love growing cold?
3. Read John 1:11 (NLT). Why do you think so many missed Jesus’ first coming, and what lessons can we learn as we await His second?
4. Read Hebrews 12:1–2 (NLT). What does “living ready” look like in your daily life?
5. Read Galatians 5:22–23 (NLT). How can the fruit of the Spirit help us resist distraction and stay focused on Jesus?
