Lots of people identify as Christians—about one-third of the world, in fact. But calling ourselves Christians and actually following Jesus can be two different things. Without even realizing it, we can slip into a faith that’s more about appearances than about a life-changing relationship with Christ.

JESUS SEEKS US

A. God did not want them to recognize Him He wants to be REVEALED to them!
B. Events had not happened as expected. – Expectation is not the same as Faith.
C. They had little faith. – Assured expectation of the things of GOD!
“Even though we don’t understand we still set the table.”

JESUS OPENS OUR EYES

A dedication to the Word of God…
The expression of the Word of God is not the Revelation of the Word of God.

JESUS REVEALS HIMSELF

A dedication to the Word of God…
…leads to the full revelation of the authority of God. And the revelation of authority is the birthplace of faith.

A FAITH TO GO

When your eyes have been opened, you will want others to have their eyes opened.
