Abide in Me 3 – Pruned for Growth – Personal Reflection

Abide-Craig Smee

Use these questions slowly. Don’t rush to fix—just notice.

  1. What currently gets most of my attention when life feels heavy or stressful?
Is that thing drawing me closer to Jesus—or quietly pulling me away?
  2. Are there good things in my life that may be crowding out the best things?
What feels full… but not necessarily fruitful?
  3. Where have I noticed reduced fruit lately—joy, peace, patience, love?
Could this be a signal of interrupted connection rather than personal failure?
  4. What might God be inviting me to simplify, release, or limit in this season?
    Not everything—just one intentional pruning.
  5. How would my week look different if abiding was my priority, not productivity?
What would staying connected require of my attention?
