Day 1: Active Spiritual Warfare
We are called to be active in our spiritual battles, never shrinking back even when we are tired or facing setbacks. Scripture does not instruct us to fight from a place of comfort but to be vigilant and proactive in our faith. This means continually pressing forward, adapting to the changing world, and following Jesus with passion and fortitude. We must remember that our spiritual journey is not a passive one; it requires us to be engaged and ready to confront challenges head-on. By doing so, we can make a significant impact in our communities and beyond, demonstrating the power of a faith that does not waver.
Ephesians 6:11-12 (ESV): “Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.”

Day 2: Shift in Mindset
We need to shift our mindset to believe that we can walk out of depression, ailments, and mental struggles by following Jesus. It’s not about asking for help from worldly sources but seeking guidance from Jesus. This shift in mindset is crucial for overcoming our struggles and living a life of faith and victory. By focusing on Jesus and His teachings, we can find the strength and direction needed to navigate through life’s challenges. This mindset change is not just a one-time event but a continuous process of aligning our thoughts and actions with the example set by Jesus.
Isaiah 26:3 (ESV): “You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.”

Day 3: Persistent Calling
God is persistent in His call to us. Many of us feel unworthy or think we are not called, but God continues to prompt us. We need to stop fighting His call and start leading our lives according to His will. This includes leading our marriages, families, and communities well, and following the example Jesus set for us. Understanding that we are called by God can transform how we view our roles and responsibilities. It empowers us to step into leadership with confidence, knowing that we are equipped and chosen by God to make a difference.
Jeremiah 1:5 (ESV): “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations.”

Day 4: Kingdom Prioritization
The solution to distraction is to prioritize the kingdom of God above all else. We must not worry about worldly concerns but trust that Jesus has already conquered Satan and knows our needs. By focusing on kingdom thinking, we can live a life free from worry and full of faith. This means putting God’s purposes and plans at the forefront of our lives, trusting that He will take care of our needs as we seek His kingdom first. It requires a shift in focus from the temporary to the eternal, from our own desires to God’s will.
Matthew 6:33-34 (ESV): “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.”
Reflection: What distractions are keeping you from prioritizing the kingdom of God? How can you refocus your attention on His kingdom today? [WATCH]
Day 5: Empowered by the Spirit
The Spirit of the Lord is upon us, empowering us to do His work. We are not lost or merely found; we are called to be like Jesus, going out into the world to find the lost and bring them to Him. We must stand firm in our struggles, knowing that the Spirit of the Lord is upon us, giving us the strength and authority to overcome. This empowerment is not just for our benefit but for the purpose of advancing God’s kingdom and bringing others into a relationship with Him. It is a call to action, to live out our faith boldly and with purpose.
Acts 1:8 (ESV): “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
