BAD ADVICE
SERIES OVERVIEW: As people who are loved by God, we become people who love Him and others just like Jesus does. In other words, God really cares about who we become because He cares about us. But there are so many voices trying to tell us who we are and who we should be. In this series, we will allow Jesus’ voice will cut through the noise as He raises the bar and gets to the heart. Because He actually has something to say about the biggest questions and the everyday decisions we face in life.
MAIN IDEA: Jesus raises the bar and gets to the heart

HOW TO PRAY
During this series, we are going to walk through the portion of the Sermon on the Mount where Jesus teaches us how (and how not) to practice our righteousness, with a specific focus on prayer. Because, according to Jesus, there is a way to pray that is filled with power and strengthens our relationship with God and others and, there is a way to pray that fuels hypocrisy and weakens our relationship with God and His people. So, together, we are going to learn how to pray like Jesus.

HOW TO PRAY
This special two-week miniseries will take place in conjunction with the release of a teen edition of Pastor Craig’s book, Winning the War in Your Mind. We plan to introduce our students to two key ideas that have the power to change their lives. In the first week, we’re talking about our thoughts because our lives are always moving in the direction of our strongest thoughts. In the second week, we’re going to focus on our emotions because unprocessed emotions never die, and real spiritual maturity always includes the deep work of developing emotional awareness and receiving emotional healing.

GETTING RELATIONSHIPS RIGHT
SERIES OVERVIEW: Throughout this series, we are deep diving into how we can have strong, healthy, and thriving relationships with God and with others. The first half of this series is focused on our relationship with God, others, and our family. The second half of this series is going to zero in on how to navigate romantic relationships wisely. To illustrate the key principles and practices we need to get our relationships right, we will be examining some of the best (and worst) examples from the Old Testament so that, when everything is said and done, our students will have the biblical understanding and the practical skills to live rightly with God and with others.
