CHAT ROOM DISCUSSION GUIDE
Series: This Changes Everything
Week 1 – Sin: The Truth About Us
Opening Icebreaker
If you could redesign one everyday object to fit you perfectly, what would it be — and why?
“That’s exactly what Jesus did with grace — He didn’t mass-produce it; He custom-fit it.”
Read Together
Romans 3 : 21–26 (NLT)
(Read aloud together as your central passage.)
Discussion Questions
- Romans 1 says God made truth obvious through creation (Romans 1:19–20). What “mirrors” of God’s nature do you notice in your everyday life?
- How does defining sin as a God-less moment change how you understand Romans 3:23?
- In Romans 2:4, Paul says God’s kindness leads to repentance. How has kindness—not fear—changed you most?
- Romans 3:25–26 says God presented Jesus as a sacrifice for sin. What does that reveal about God’s character?
- 2 Corinthians 3:18 says we reflect the glory of the Lord as we’re changed into His image. How is that process happening in you right now?
Prayer Focus
Thank Jesus for being the mirror that shows truth and grace together.
Ask the Holy Spirit to help you keep looking long enough to see transformation—not just reflection.
Pray for courage to let His kindness reshape the way you see yourself and others.
